VisionEnvironment aims to provide an education and learning service, with a key aim of promoting environmental planning & sustainability as an area of learning and study, and to advocate for better urban environments. This website contains a variety of material related to environmental planning & sustainability. Dr Middle also provides formal training courses on the topics covered here, and less formal presentations to community groups and at community events.

There are five main areas on this part of the website: Environmental & sustainability planning topics; Research topics; Environmental planning photo-essays; Cities photo-essays; and a Blog. You can go straight to parts by clicking on the live link.

The environmental & sustainability planning topics are in development. They will cover contemporary sustainability planning topics based on Dr Middle's interests and topics that have come up as part of his teaching. These pages will also form the basis of a book Dr Middle is preparing.

Specific issue research gives a summary of the research that Dr Middle has been the lead author of.

Environmental planning photo-essays page covers specific topics that are best expressed as photo-essays.

The Cities photo-essays page has a series of photo essay showing some of the key planning issues Dr Middle has observed in the cities he has visited as part of his work, or on holiday.
